We were delighted to have our Delta Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2024 crowned the WineWorks Champion Sauvignon Blanc, 2024 and Older, at the 2025 Marlborough Wine Show!
The trophy was presented at an awards evening held at the new Marlborough Wine + Food Experience in Blenheim last Friday evening.
Sponsored by QuayConnect, the Marlborough Wine Show aims to champion wines of excellence, and provenance, grown and made right here in Marlborough.
The Delta Estate Sauvignon Blanc is made using grapes selected from a single vineyard in the Lower Wairau Valley. Bright and expressive, it is crafted with purity and precision in mind, and we were incredibly proud to have the 2024 vintage pick up the category trophy on such a respected stage this year.

More than 500 wines were entered into the competition this year, with many of the Sauvignon Blancs said to be particularly impressive. Delta picked up two gold medals at the show each for Sauvignon Blanc. One went to the trophy-winning wine, Delta Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2024, and the other to the Delta Distinction Series Identity Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024.
