A fruit driven, lightly oaked wine with stone fruit, spice and toasted nut.
CURRENT TASTING NOTES:
Winemaker: Heather Stewart.
Aroma: Fresh stone fruit, fig and toasted hazelnut.
Palate: Layers of peach, lemon, hazelnut and vanilla.
Drinking Potential: Drinking well now and will evolve over the four years from vintage.
Viticulture & Winemaking: The fruit was selected from clay based soils in the Marlborough region. The grapes were pressed to tank and seasoned oak barrels where the juice was fermented and the wine aged. Selected barrels were selected and the wine was carefully blended before bottling.
Analysis: 13%, PH 3.39 , Acidity 5.2g/L, Residual Sugar 1.1g/L
