Aroma: Strawberries, wild flowers.
Palate: Ripe cranberries, red cherries and a silky texture.
Drinking Potential: Drink now and for the next five years from vintage.
Viticulture & Winemaking: The growing season was warmer than usual, cool nights allowed for retention of fresh fruit flavours and bright acidity. The grapes were held cool for five days, fermentation then took place and the must was hand plunged six times daily. Malolactic fermentation took place and the wine was carefully prepared for bottling.
Analysis: 13.5%, PH 3.51 , Acidity 5.1g/L
