The Directors

Matt Thomson

Matt represents the financial interests of the Thomson family, and his knowledge and international experience is valuable both for vineyard management and the winemaking processes. As Matt travels extensively, he is able to deliver first hand knowledge of the Delta wines to international audiences.

David Gleave

David’s international marketing expertise has been valuable in establishing the company and appointing regional distribution for the Delta and Hatter's Hills brands. David has an excellent palate, and he and Matt can often be found bouncing wine tastes off each other.

Neal Ibbotson

Neal is a renowned viticulturalist, who owns Saint Clair, one of Marlborough’s most consistently outstanding producers. He has worked with Matt since 1994, and was keen to help him in his own venture. Neal is one of the pioneers of Marlborough grape growing, having first planted grapes in 1978.

Ron Stewart

Ron represents the interests of New Zealand Wineries, a Marlborough company that has a large investment in the New Zealand wine industry, providing infrastructure and services for leasehold wineries, bond stores and bottling facilities. The company is also a shareholder in the Waipara Hills Wine Company.
