Delta 'Hatter's Hill' Marlborough Pinot Noir 2015 (5 stars)
Even, dark ruby-red colour, a little pale on edge. This has a full and voluminous nose with good
depth and layered aromas of savoury dark-red berry fruits entwined with subtle notes of dark plums,
dark herbs and complex whole bunch stalk and stem nuances, along with some undergrowth hints.
The nose is soft, fulsome and dense. Medium-full bodied, this has rich and mouthfilling flavours of
savoury dark-red berry and plum fruit intermixed with layers of dark herbs, earth, stalk and stem
whole cluster complexities. The fruit sweetness is supported by soft, supple tannin extraction and
the wine flows smoothly and seamlessly with underlying energy, carrying to a complex and detailed
finish of savoury red fruits, herbs, earth and undergrowth. This is a softly rich and complex layered
Pinot Noir with dark fruits, whole bunch stalk notes and a smooth flowing palate. Match with coq
au vin and casseroles over the next 4+ years. Hand-picked Dijon clone fruit from the ''Delta Farm'
vineyard, fermented with 13% whole bunches to 13.5% alc., the wine aged in 28% new French oak

Delta Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016 (4 stars)
Pale straw-yellow colour with a little depth, pale on the rim. The nose is gently full with fresh,
mouthwatering aromas of pungent passionfruit with nuances of tropical fruits, along with snow
peas, fresh herbs and mineral nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses softly
refreshing passionfruit flavours with notes of tropical fruits, herbs and snow peas. The mouthfeel is
dry with soft, grainy phenolic textures underlining the fruit. The palate has a crisp acid line
providing drive that carries the tight core to a lingering, dry-textured, thirst-quenching finish of
passionfruit. This is a fresh, pungent passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with a dry, thirst-quenching
palate. Serve with salads, vegetables and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from a single
site in Dillons Point, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 2.8 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Sep

Bright, even, pale straw-yellow colour. The nose is firm and tight, with intense, penetrating aromas
of white stonefruits melded with notes of passionfruit, gooseberries and green stonefruits along with
mineral nuance and subtle secondary green bean hints. The aromatics are refreshing and steely.
Dry to taste and medium-bodied, fine and tightly concentrated flavours of white and green
tonefruits show with white florals, herbs and minerals, and suggestions of secondary green bean
flavours. The palate is refined and smooth-flowing with very subtle textures, and crisp, racy acidity
providing energy and linear drive, leading to a long, lingering finish of herbs and minerals. This is
a refined, tight, brisk and fine-featured Sauvignon Blanc with white and green stonefruit, herb and
mineral flavours. Serve as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 2+ years. Fruit from a single
vineyard in Dillons Point, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 3.0 g/L RS. 18..0+/20

with vibrant and intense aromas of dark red cherry and raspberry fruit, along with lifted dark-red
and violet florals and a subtle amalgam of herbs and whole berry fermentation confectionary
elements. Medium-bodied, the palate features rich, lively and elegantly concentrated flavours of
dark raspberries and black cherry fruit melded with an amalgam of fresh herbs and violet florals.
The palate is sweet and succulent, quite fine in expression with supple tannin extraction and flowing
line, along with refreshing acidity. The wine carries with drive and energy to an elegant finish of
dark cherry and berry fruit. This is an elegantly concentrated, sweet dark cherry and berry fruited
Pinot Noir with supple tannins and fresh line and drive. Match with duck and pork dishes over the
next 4 years. Dijon clone fruit from the 'Delta Farm' vineyard, fermented to 13.5% alc., the wine
